Remote Deposit

Simmons First's Remote Deposit service helps you save time and money by electronically depositing business and individual checks, government checks, and money orders from the convenience of an office computer.

The Way It Works

A tabletop scanner is attached to a Windows®-based PC that is connected to the internet. Items for deposit are tallied to insure proper balancing. The checks are scanned into Remote Deposit. Remote Deposit automatically reads the amount of the check, and (if selected) determines if the check is eligible to be presented by ACH. Any amount that is not read will be keyed by Remote Deposit operators. Once balancing is complete, an e-mail alert is sent confirming the deposit will be processed into the designated Simmons First checking account.
